According to the seller, the instrument dates from the early 1950s. Its back plate is missing, leaving the fascinating internal construction exposed to view.\n\nIt offers an intriguing glimpse into historic craftsmanship, from the coils and vintage resistors to the visible stamps and wiring. The black housing, described by the seller as Bakelite, contrasts beautifully with the aged dial on the front. The terminals are marked 0, 3 V, 10 V, 30 V and 100 V, while the dial bears the marking V eff.\n\nA bold and intriguing industrial display piece, curated as a distinctive focal point for a high-end interior or a discerning collector’s cabinet of curiosities. The open back makes the technical construction particularly striking. This is an instrument with a missing back plate, not a verified factory demonstration model.\n\nVintage condition with visible wear to the housing and an aged dial. Operation and measurement accuracy have not been confirmed. Offered as a decorative collectible, not as a ready-to-use measuring instrument. Do not connect it to a voltage source with the back open.\n\nBrand: Siemens \u0026 Halske\nModel designation supplied by the seller: Rel Bv 241\/16\nDating supplied by the seller: early 1950s\nDimensions: 15 × 9 × 5.5 cm\nWeight: 556 g\nBack plate missing\n\nOnly one example of this product is available.
