About us

ContinentalVintage is a registered business in the Netherlands specialising in authentic European secondhand vintage and antique objects for collectors, trade buyers and private customers.

Our products

Our items are unique secondhand vintage pieces. We aim to describe condition, dimensions, approximate age and origin accurately. Signs of age, wear, patina and disclosed imperfections are part of an item's character and condition. Product photographs form part of the description. When an attribution, date or origin cannot be confirmed, we state this rather than presenting it as certain.

Orders and prices

Prices are displayed in euros unless another currency is shown. Shipping, taxes, duties or import charges are added or handled as stated at checkout and in our policies. We can correct obvious pricing or content errors before accepting an order. An order is accepted when we confirm it in accordance with the checkout process.

Payment

The payment methods available for a customer's country and order are displayed at checkout. Payments are processed through the secure provider shown there. We do not store complete payment-card details.

Shipping

We ship to destinations where a suitable carrier service is available. Dispatch times, tracking and insurance depend on the item, destination, carrier and selected service. Please review our Shipping Policy and Shipping & Returns page for details. Nothing in these terms transfers risk earlier than permitted by applicable consumer law.

Returns and refunds

Because our items are unique and secondhand, we do not offer voluntary returns or exchanges outside cases where a return is required by applicable law. This does not limit statutory consumer rights. If an item is materially different from its description, the wrong item was delivered, or it arrives damaged, contact us promptly at htc.herman@gmail.com. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website's original photographs, descriptions, branding and other original content belong to ContinentalVintage and may not be reproduced without written permission, except where applicable law permits.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to applicable law, ContinentalVintage is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence. Any dispute is handled by a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
