FMS Suhl 0–25 mm Micrometer with Plastic Case and Adjustment Wrench

Vintage FMS Suhl micrometer with black textured grip panels and a silver-coloured frame and thimble. The round maker’s plate names Feinmesszeugfabrik Suhl/DDR. Supplied with a plastic case with a transparent lid and a separate adjustment wrench: a compact collectible from the history of mechanical precision measuring instruments.

Condition and operation:
According to the seller, tested and working smoothly, but not calibrated. The photographs show light surface marks, scratches and localised discolouration on the metal components and frame. The plastic case has signs of use and scratches; the insert shows stains and wear. The set is not offered as unused or completely scratch-free. Operation, measuring accuracy and the condition of the measuring faces have not been independently checked. Inspection and calibration are recommended before precision measuring work.
