A distinctive piece of historic precision engineering, this Mymeter 50–75 mm indicating micrometer, also known as a Feinzeiger-Schraublehre, combines a micrometer screw with a built-in fine indicator. Unlike a conventional micrometer, it features a separate indicator window for reading small dimensional deviations. According to the seller, this set dates from the early East German (GDR) period and comes with its original wooden case, paper factory warranty label inside the lid and accompanying adjustment wrench. An appealing set for collectors of historic measuring instruments and East German precision engineering. HISTORIC FACTORY WARRANTY LABEL The seller provides the following transcription of the paper label: “Irgendwelche Reklamationen bezüglich des Messwerkes können nur berücksichtigt werden, wenn Rücksendung mit unverletzter Plombe erfolgt!” In English: complaints concerning the measuring mechanism could only be considered if the instrument was returned with its lead seal intact. This historic label offers an interesting glimpse into the factory’s original service conditions. It is not a current warranty or evidence of calibration.
