Vintage Steinmeyer outside micrometer marked Steinmeyer EBINGEN, with a black frame and a satin silver-coloured, knurled thimble. Supplied with a wooden case, German instruction sheet, adjustment wrench and a loose metal ring. A characterful mechanical measuring instrument with the distinctive Steinmeyer marking on the thimble.

Condition and operation:
According to the seller, nearly new, tested and working smoothly, but not calibrated. The photos show localised paint wear and small paint chips on the black frame, as well as surface marks on the metal parts. The wooden case has signs of use and storage; the instruction sheet is discoloured and folded. Not offered as scratch-free. Operation and measuring accuracy have not been independently verified. The instruction sheet is not a calibration certificate. Inspection and calibration are recommended before precision measuring work. The photographs form an integral part of the condition description.
