An impressive early 20th-century brass surveyor’s level, serial number 92156, preserved in its fitted wooden transport case marked Gebr. Wichmann m.b.H., Karlstraße 14, Berlin NW 7.
The long brass telescope, twin glass spirit levels and precision adjustment screws give this instrument a strong architectural and scientific presence. Dating from approximately 1910–1920, it makes a distinctive collector’s cabinet, office or library display piece.

Condition
Antique condition with age-related patina and signs of use, as visible in the photographs. The optics are clear, the fine adjustment screws move smoothly and both spirit levels respond normally. No damage has been observed.
