Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Passameter (dial snap gauge) with a 25–50 mm measuring range. This mechanical indicating micrometer combines an adjustable spindle with an analogue dial marked 2 µm per division, equivalent to 0.002 mm per scale division. Its indicator and red tolerance markers were designed for comparative checks of similarly sized parts without repeatedly reading a conventional micrometer thimble.
