A distinctive ensemble for collectors of Swiss watchmaking and precision mechanical tools: this DIXI Le Locle precision set is presented in a green case bearing the maker’s name, “DIXI Le Locle – Suisse.” According to the seller, this is a mid-20th-century precision watchmaking set from Le Locle, Switzerland, a city with a rich watchmaking heritage. The assortment of fine metal tools, attachments and glass tubes gives the ensemble a distinctly micromechanical character. The exact purpose of each individual component and the production date have not been independently established. The textured green case has a leatherette appearance, an embossed DIXI emblem on the exterior and two silver-colored clasps.
